Middle Stage
The Middle Stage at PKM EM School serves as a bridge between the foundational years of early education and the more specialized demands of the Secondary Stage. This critical phase is designed to enhance students’ academic abilities, foster personal growth, and develop a strong sense of independence and responsibility.
Objectives
To deepen students’ understanding of core subjects and develop advanced academic skills.
To encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and independent learning.
To support the social, emotional, and moral development of students during this formative period.
To introduce and develop essential life skills, including communication, collaboration, and time management.
To broaden students’ understanding of global issues and cultures, fostering a sense of global citizenship.
Curriculum
Our Middle Stage curriculum is carefully structured to provide a balanced education that meets the developmental needs of early adolescents. Key components of the curriculum include:
Continued emphasis on Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies to build a solid academic foundation.
Enhanced focus on reading, writing, and communication skills through literature and language studies.
Introduction to more advanced concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
